How to Commission a Portrait
The cost for an original drawing of your pet is $400.
Each custom portrait drawing is unique and one-of-a-kind.
Pencil drawings are created on 9" x 12" heavyweight watercolor paper. The actual size of a drawing varies with its composition.
The finished portrait comes double-matted and ready to frame in a standard 16" x 20" frame, or in a matt custom cut to your specifications, if desired.
Steps to commission a portrait of your pet:
Digital or non-digital photographs are required for the portrait. These should be clear and in focus. Good clarity of your pet's face (especially the eyes) is essential in order for the drawing to capture your pet's "spirit."
Sending your photographs to me via email is the best option. If this isn’t possible, you can send them through the mail as printed photographs or on a CD. All photos will be returned with your portrait.
A 25% non-returnable deposit is required confirming your order once the photographs have been agreed upon. At this point, I will give you a completion date for your portrait.
Payment can be made through PayPal or by US Check made payable to Ann Ramsey.
Shipping Charges: $25 will be charged per portrait to cover shipping charges via USPS Express Mail. Artwork will be mailed once the check has cleared or payment is made via PayPal.
